Will Gwinnett County public schools have a new school calendar in 2022-23?

As part of its calendar development process, Gwinnett County Public Schools has gathered feedback on calendar options for next school year. This feedback--collected at the local school level from various groups, including students, staff, and parents--provided direction that has led to the development of a proposed 2022-23 school calendar.

Updating Your Contact Information

If you have a change in address, phone number, or email address, these changes must be made by school staff. Please call the school (770-736-4360) or email your student's teacher to make the necessary changes.

Updating Emergency Contact Information

Please also make sure the emergency contact information within the Parent Portal is kept current. This information is used if we are unable to contact the parent when their child is sick and unable to stay at school or in another emergency. What is GCPS 2020?

Every year, GCPS recognizes a male and female student at each high school who has shown excellence in athletics, academics, and leadership roles in the school and community service. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing our outstanding senior athletes from the Class of 2020.

When is the K-8 summer?

This summer’s K-8 learning experience is set for June 14 to July 2. The focus on enrichment and acceleration is intended to help students get a head start on next year’s learning.
