The "List Assignments" icon will display a list of all assignment and their grade. You can ask Genesis to send you notification when new grades are associated with your child’s account. In order to take advantage of this, parents have to opt into this feature using "Genesis Message Center" icon.
If you do not have a login to Genesis, please contact your child's school and they will be able to help you. If you have been locked out of your account, or have forgotten your account information, please contact your child's school to have your account unlocked.
Genesis is Lawrence Township Public School’s student information system, used to record and track student records, including grades and attendance. It’s a comprehensive system that allows educators and administrators to effectively and conveniently manage student records. It also allows us to share attendance and grade information with our parents. This guide details how to use the ‘Parent Access’ of Genesis.
This provides easy access to recent assignments, current schedule, and this week's daily attendance. At LHS and LMS, attendance is taken for each period, and this class-by-class attendance is available for parents to see. Along the top of the page are icons to lead you to different areas of the Parent Access.

All families receive a Genesis Parent Access Account when their child is first registered with our district. At that time an email would have been sent to the email address provided during registration asking the recipient to login and reset their password.
Before you are able to access your child's schedule and/or teacher assignment, you must complete the required Medical Update and Back to School Forms via your Genesis Parent Access Account. More information on those forms is provided.
