For the better part of two full years, everything happening throughout Toms River Regional Schools has been shared virtually– in newsletters, online, and through emails– and only recently have parents and community members been able to take in performances, capstone projects, and showcases, albeit in a somewhat limited capacity.
Funded by the second year of a grant from the Office of Naval Research, nearly 30 young women from Toms River Regional’s secondary schools were introduced to computer science (CS) through personalized hands-on projects at a camp run July 15-18, 2019 at Toms River High School North.
Parents can register for Parent Access by downloading the Parent Access Request form and returning it to the school. Once the request is processed, you will receive a welcome email containing your user name and password. The first time you login to the system, you will be required to change your password to something more familiar to you.

Under normal circumstances, members of the drama program at Intermediate East performs live for incoming fifth graders to promote anti-bullying awareness. This year, the drama students decided to take the program virtual and created Stop the Drama 2020! The song, video clips, and video editing were all done by the 8th grade members of the TRIE drama program.
The ESY program is for 30 days, Monday through Friday, from July 6 through Aug. 16, four hours per day. It is a great opportunity to work with special needs students over the summer. The Ocean County YMCA and Toms River Regional Schools will host its second annual Grab N' Go Summer Meals Program from June 25 through September 3, Monday through Friday from 11am to 1pm. Participating youth, 18 or younger, will receive free, nutritious lunches and snacks daily. No I.D., application or proof of income is needed.
June 9, 2021 -- High School East held its Circle of Friends Celebration Event on Monday, June 7. During the annual event-- which was not held last year due to the pandemic-- teachers come together to develop and implement a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment that allows special needs students to enjoy a fun day out of the classroom filled with food, music, dancing, a photo booth, and games.
