George Mason University does not mail grades to students or to their parents. Grades are available for students to view online through Patriot Web. Students wishing to share their grades with their parents can submit a request for a transcript, which then will be mailed to an address of their choice. May I access my child’s academic record?
Students and staff may log in using their Mason Username and Password (same as Mason email). Parents, guardians, or employers wishing to access the system require student permission via the student’s authorized user process.

To access your gmu email, go to mail.gmu.edu and click on the Faculty & Staff email box. Next, click on the yellow box that says "Login to 365". This will take you to a sign in page where you will enter your username and password - the same username and password you use to get into Patriot Web.
Students are charged $146 per credit up to 12 credits. For 12 to 15 credits students are charges $1,752. For additional credits over 15 students are charged $146 per credit. For more information, please refer to Mandatory Student Fees in the Student Accounts Office website, Tuition & Fees.

By default, all students who are eligible to receive a 1098-T will receive an electronic copy. The electronic copy is available in the Bill + Payment System. Students who selected to receive their 1098-T electronic only in the Bill + Payment System will not receive a hard copy in the mail.

How to upload documents in the patient portal. Step 1: Scan and save your documents individually to your computer or take a picture. This is completed outside of the patient portal using your scanner software or smart phone. If you are uploading multiple documents, you will need to scan/take a picture and save each document as a separate file.
George Mason Student Health Services uses a secure, online patient portal. Currently, students can view and enter immunization records, upload documents, enter insurance information, read education documents you have received from Student Health, and get secure messages from your provider. Other features will be made available as we continue with implementation. Mason payment plans are available online for students who need to budget their accounts. A $25 contract fee, is required at the time of enrollment. The contract fee is nonrefundable.
Services, including but not limited to transcript issuance, diploma release, class registration (add, drop, withdrawal, etc.), and/or housing and meal plans will not be provided to students with a financial balance due or a hold of any kind on their record.
