What is technique pool party?

Pilates, Yoga & all things “health”, strength & flexibility, various tips and tricks!! Technique Pool Party Camp is designed to not only improve a dancer’s technical foundation but also to further develop their individual artistry & artistic expression. A fantastic camp for the brand new dancer or a returning one. An excellent introduction to the foundational elements of various styles! Campers will be divided into various groups by age and skill set and will take class from all of our amazing Glass House Faculty. Camp will conclude with an outdoor pool party backyard BBQ style, fully equipped with water balloon & gun fights, freshly grilled hamburgers & hotdogs, sweet eats & treats & the 30-foot inflatable tumble track turning into a giant slip & slide!

A dance camp designed specifically for our youngest dancers with emphasis on five core dance styles; Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical/Contemporary & Acro!! Dance Camp Re-imagined, is a tiny human palooza aimed to stimulate imagination, wonder & out of the box thinking! It cannot be confined to a single theme or concept and we refuse to "define" or limit it's possibilities! We're changing things up in a BIG WAY to keep our youngest dancers focused, engaged & stimulated from the first day of camp, to the last. Consider it a personally curated dance camp experience! It's Princesses & Super Heroes. Kings, Queens & Flying Things! Furry Friends, Crafts & Tea Parties. Sweet Eats & Treats. Ultimately camps design will be based on the likes and interests of those enrolled, and we'll reach out to learn more about YOUR dancer to help guide the camps development & structure. Special Guest appearances & Art projects to be expected. The possibilities are endless!

What is contemporary dance?

Contemporary is a “melting pot” of all dance styles, pulling from a foundation of ballet & post-modern dance techniques. Contemporary pushes today’s boundaries of movement vocabulary and movement innovation. Lyrical, a “sister” to contemporary, focuses on story telling through dance and is emotionally expressive.
