In order to be able to leave during lunch that first day of school, the application must be completed and turned in by Friday, August 6 th . Your student must also have a Godby-issued ID badge.
Amos P. Godby High School is named after Amos Parker Godby who was born on April 19, 1903, in Kentucky. Mr. Godby played football at Mercer University and came to Florida in 1930 and began his teaching/coaching career in Carrabelle.
