The PTFA supports the girls’ learning experience by organising a number of fundraising activities including the Christmas Bazaar, and through the PTFA E-Schemes. In the past few years the PTFA has helped fund our bursaries and Challenge Your Limits Week, and has raised money for a host of items to enrich learning such as a 3D printer, pottery wheels and kiln, a drone, Go-Pro cameras, sports equipment and software for our computer clubs.
The aim of our PTFA is to continue to build a strong, vibrant and active parent community through formal and informal social events – such as the Jazz Night and Quiz Night – and to better connect and support one another. All parents automatically become members of the PTFA when their daughter joins the school and you will quickly discover that we are a very warm, friendly and inclusive community.
When parents join the school they will be given log-in details for the Parent Portal, will be asked to sign-up to the parent directory and will receive details about our Digital Pinboard.
Each year we offer a number of means-tested bursaries – covering up to 110% of the school fees – to families who would not otherwise be able to send their daughter to the school. We are keen to ensure that girls can take up their place whatever their financial background, and full details can be found on the bursaries page.
