The Assignments tab will only display non -Proficiency Based Learning course assignments and grades.
During the open enrollment for course requests (determined by your school), students can request courses that they would like to take for the following school year. Depending on availability, the school with grant the student’s request.
Parents have the ability to manage the daily and weekly e-mail notifications that the District sends.
This tab will show mid-quarter grades/progress for schools that post mid-terms. This is not a required posting process at all schools. You may or may not see posted mid-terms here.
The Report Card tab will display all final grades for each quarter. If you click on each quarter tab (highlighted in orange) you can see the overall G.P.A. and C.P.A. for each quarter.
The Skills tab is only for elementary students. This is a 1 – 4 citizenship type grade.
The Standards tab will display all Proficiency Based Grading courses. Each course and overall grade is displayed first (highlighted in purple). Select ‘Expand Details’, and underneath the course name, you will see the standards and assessments your student has been assessed on, with the proficiency score for that assessment and standard.
Students can access Gradebook by logging into the site above or via the Portal ( http://portal.graniteschools.org) with their Active Directory credentials.

Teachers can access and set up Gradebook by visiting https://gradebook.graniteschools.org/ or by using the Gradebook link in the Portal.
The Granite Portal: The portal shows you information about all of your students such as current schedules, Grades, Attendance, Graduation Requirements, Test scores, fees, lunch balance and more. It also gives you some basic information about the schools your students attend. It also is gateway to other applications such as Pay Pams, Grade book, and your students schools Web Stores. The portal is designed to be a single location for you to get to all the information you may need. You will be prompted for your username and password the first time you access Pay Pams or the Web Store through the portal. The password for those applications is then stored in a lockbox for ease of application access in the future.
1. Go to: https://portal.graniteschools.org. 2. Click on Gradebook/Parent Portal Registration. 3. Read the Information and click “ Register in the Parent Portal ”. 4. Fill in the information needed in the fields marked with an Asterisk *, then click “ Create Account .”. 5.
1) Type in your username and password, click Log in. You may be prompted to set challenge questions if you ever need to recover your password. 2) Off the dashboard, you will see parent info at the top and students listed on the left side along with their Student ID # and School.
Granite Portal. The Granite School District portal provides convenient access to many websites used by staff, students, and parents. Some websites can only be accessed through the portal, but for others you can bypass the portal and go directly to the site.
The portal may display a warning that webPass is missing. You can access the full functionality of the portal without using webPass, so feel free to click Cancel. After a successful login, the portal displays three rows of tiles.
