When did Great Oaks High School change its name?

In 1972, the school changed its name to Great Oaks and added a fourth campus with the addition of the Clinton County Air Force Base. Dwayne Rudd of Woodlawn was presented this week with the 2021 Eric Scott Compassion Award.

By growing at a healthy and sustainable pace, by 2026, we will be rooted in our identity as Houston’s first Waldorf School. We will be financially solvent and go on to provide an education through the twelfth grade.
