The Greene County School System provides quality educational experiences and extra-curricular activities to approximately 6,500 students enrolled in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The basic education and majority of the special education services are delivered through 11 elementary schools, one middle school, and four high schools.

Russell Brock, who has served as principal of Anita White Carson Middle School Principal for the past five years, will join the district’s central office team this summer as the school system’s new Executive Director of Human Resources and Mrs. DeAndra Lanier, who has served as Assistant Principal at CMS for the past two years, will step into the role of school principal.
The GCSS Nutrition Program will continue providing nutritious meals to students from July 6th – July 23rd. Meals are available to children 18 years old and younger. Meal pick-ups will take place TUESDAYS ONLY at Greene County High School from 10:30 am – 12:30 am. ALL CHILDREN 18 years old and younger will receive 5 breakfast and 5 lunches.
Infinite Campus is a district-wide student information system designed to manage attendance, grades, and test scores. Parents utilize one login to see information on one or multiple children.
The Parent Portal is a confidential and secure website where you can get current information about your child's school attendance and grades online. Once you set up one account you will be able to see information on all of your children.
All parents can access the portal. Elementary school parents have access to attendance and grades while middle and high school parents have access to schedules and grades as well as attendance. Contact your child's school for more information or submit your questions using our online form.
