We're Ready for Tomorrow

Greens Farms Academy engages students as partners in an innovative, inclusive, and globally minded community to prepare them for lives of purpose.

Partnership

is at the heart of everything we do. The bonds we form strengthen, enrich, and inspire our community.

Pursue your passions

On the athletic field, in the lab, on stage, or at the Harkness table, discover hidden talents and explore new worlds.

Academic Rigor

We cultivate a lifelong love of learning and encourage students to create their own academic path. Learn about our Signature Programs.

Unparalleled Faculty

Our world-class faculty are dedicated to their craft, working in true partnership with students.

Empathy

We ask our students to consider the world from the perspective of others. Empathy is a priority at all times.

Excellence

Our commitment to excellence — in academics, in character, and in life — is unparalleled. All our students have the potential for greatness.

Why did GFA update travel rules?

At GFA, we have updated our travel rules in an effort to minimize the impact of travel on both the safety of the community and the quality of the program. We encourage you to review these travel rules carefully and reach out to us if you have any questions.

How long do you have to travel to Connecticut for GFA?

GFA students and employees who travel within the United States and outside of Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire for more than 24 hours should submit proof of vaccination against COVID-19, or a negative test result for COVID-19 dated 72 hours after arrival in Connecticut, to Kathleen Raby ( kraby@gfacademy.org ). Those students and employees are no longer mandated to self-quarantine before returning to school. GFA considers students or employees to be fully vaccinated against the coronavirus when two full weeks have passed since the final dose of the vaccine.

Can parents be on campus?

Parents, friends, and non-essential visitors are not allowed on campus, except for student drop-off and pick-up. All school and/or Parents Association-sponsored events will be virtual, delayed, or canceled at least through September.
