On the left hand side of the page, you have a menu bar. The menu allows you to handle your student's account. It gives you the ability to check your student's grades, attendance, schedule, etc., as well as pay for your student's instructional fees or put money in their lunch account.
The Message Center is selected by default. Its contents are divided into 2 sections: announcements and Inbox. The Inbox displays student related messages ordered from newest to oldest. Possible messages include missing assignment notices, failing grade notices, attendance notices, behavior notices, surveys and general information notices. Please be sure to check your inbox regularly.

The Grinnell-Newburg Community School District, located in rural Iowa, is a school district that is transforming education for students who live surrounded by farm country. The Grinnell Community rallies to support our students through various educational partnerships to not only live in a connected world, but to also be connected to the world. Innovation, especially during the time of a pandemic, became evident as we navigated lessons to reach destinations for our students beyond the rural 224 square miles within the boundaries of the district. Living in rural Iowa, the Grinnell Newburg School District found a way to create equitable access for students to develop critical thinking so that they are prepared to compete in a global economy.
Distinguished School for 2021-2024 for our emphasis and the ability to empower our students as learners who can achieve at their maximum potential.
Students are considered “new” if there is no family information in our information database. If you are a parent of a returning student access online registration through your Parent Portal, so as to avoid having to re- enter all your information and duplicates in our system.
Parents are invited to schedule a tour of the building, and to meet your student's building principal and administrative staff. Appointments are not necessary but are recommended. Welcome to the Grinnell-Newburg Community School District!
