Why does Guilderland Central School District use our parent and student portals?

This is one of the reasons the Guilderland Central School District utilizes our parent and student portals– to keep the parent-school connection open and thriving. Directions on how to navigate the site, reset your password and update contact information can be found below.

How do students and parents access information in the GCSD portal?

Students will only have access to their own information, and parents will only have access to the profiles of the GCSD students for which they are a registered parent or guardian. Once you are a registered user, click below for the appropriate portal. Elementary school level portal information will display teacher placement information.

How do I get help with the parent portal?

Once your account is activated, you can use the Parent Portal. If you still need assistance, please contact Kayleigh Retell at retellk@guilderlandschools.net or at 518-456-6200, ext. 3123.

When will the new scheduling information be available to parents?

Scheduling information will be made available to students and parents on the first day of school. High school level portal information will be limited. Once your account is activated, you can use the Parent Portal.

PARENTS AND ATHLETES

Parents and athletes need to manage their SportsEngine accounts to ensure they get the most out of their Guilderland Baseball experience during each sporting season. With their accounts properly configured, athletes and their families will receive communications according to their preferences and be able to complete registrations more efficiently.
