As part of its calendar development process, Gwinnett County Public Schools has gathered feedback on calendar options for next school year. This feedback--collected at the local school level from various groups, including students, staff, and parents--provided direction that has led to the development of a proposed 2022-23 school calendar.
For the 2022-23 school year, GCPS will offer a digital learning option for students in grades K-12 through Gwinnett Online Campus (GOC), opening GOC’s program to K-3 students for the first time. Digital students at all grade levels will enroll full-time at GOC rather than being enrolled at their local neighborhood/zoned school.

GCPS’ mask guidance is based on community transmission as determined by the Georgia Department of Public Health. Masks are required in all GCPS facilities during periods of “Substantial” or “High” community transmission.

In partnership with the Gwinnett County Public Library (GCPL), GCPS provides Tutor.com as an online tutoring resource for students.

Much of the registration process, including the uploading of documents needed for registration, will be completed online. Most document attachments (PDF, JPG, DOC, PNG, etc.) are compatible. The file size limit is 2 MB. Families should begin online registration, even if their child's health records are not up to date.
