GCPS’ mask guidance is based on community transmission as determined by the Georgia Department of Public Health. Masks are required in all GCPS facilities during periods of “Substantial” or “High” community transmission.

In partnership with the Gwinnett County Public Library (GCPL), GCPS provides Tutor.com as an online tutoring resource for students.
To prepare for the next decade, GCPS launched a community-wide campaign to invite input on updating its Strategic Priorities for 2010-2020. That update is called the Strategic Direction for 2020-2030. Like its predecessor, it will be a significant guide for the school system’s work, now and in the future.
Every year, GCPS recognizes a male and female student at each high school who has shown excellence in athletics, academics, and leadership roles in the school and community service. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing our outstanding senior athletes from the Class of 2020.
This summer’s K-8 learning experience is set for June 14 to July 2. The focus on enrichment and acceleration is intended to help students get a head start on next year’s learning.
