What is Gyros Gymnastics?

Welcome to Gyros Gymnastics. Gyros Gymnastics, located in the Dufferin-Lawrence area of Toronto, provides recreational gymnastic programs to the surrounding community and Greater Toronto Area, and an advanced calibre of gymnastics for those athletes demonstrating the ability to compete at the Women's Provincial Artistic Gymnastics Level.

Does Gyros Gymnastics have a Facebook fan page?

Click here to enter our new offical Gyros Gymnastics Facebook fan page. Gyros offers four sessions during our operating season that commences July 1 and ends June 30. The program sessions are Summer Session, Fall Session, Winter Session, and Spring Session.

What is the age range for gymnastic programs?

A variety of recreational gymnastic programs are offered to boys and girls ranging in age from 18 months to 16 years of age. Advanced recreational (achievement), inter-club, pre-competitive artistic programs are also available.

Parent & Tot – 45 min (18 months to 3 years)

Our Parent & Tot class introduces children to gymnastics under the supervision of a certified coach with the assistance of their parent who participates in various gym activities. The safe, controlled class offers structure and fun programs that begin the development of coordination, balance, strength, flexibility and basic gymnastics skills.

Advanced Recreational Program

All programs listed below require an assessment in order to be accepted into the program.

Junior Achievement: 4 to 6 years - 2 hours

This class is intended to focus on strength, flexibility and basic gymnastic skills in a challenging, rewarding, and fun atmosphere.

Achievement: 7 years and up - 2.5 hours

This program is intended for the child who would like and has the skills and abilities for something a little more challenging than the general recreational classes. The achievement class can be a preparation and possible stepping stone to the Interclub competitive program

Camp Information

Throughout the year we offer camps during the Winter Break, March Break, Passover, Summer and PA days.

Gymnastics equipment is only to be used under the supervision of a coach.

3 to 4 Years – 1 Hour 4 to 5 Years – 1 Hour 5 to 6 Years – 1 Hour

  • These classes provide a fun and safe environment for the children to progressively help develop co-ordination, strength and flexibility. These structured programs incorporate basic gymnastic skills while focusing on fundamental and dominant movement patterns.
