Parent Resource Center Holiday Open House and Parent Drop In Meeting was a great opportunity for parents to check out the Parent Resource Center and learn more about SLDS on Parent Portal. The SLDS option on Parent Portal allows parents/guardians a window into their student's standardized test score results and the breakdowns of the scores. The score results are cumulative so each year's scores are added to your student's page. This allows parents to track their student's progress across the grades. The resource link section of SLDS gives parents access to at least five online resources per grade level content standard. The below handout explains in more detail about SLDS. If you are not signed up for Parent Portal you will need to visit the school office to sign up in person.
