Lending Policies

Our books and magazines may be loaned out for one 6 days cycle;but can be renewed if students require more time. students in grades k and 1 may take out one library book. In grades 2 to 5, they may choose 2.

Who is the trustee for Ward 1?

RETSD congratulates Colleen Carswell, trustee for Ward 1, who was re-elected as school board chair for the 2019–20 school year at the board’s inaugural meeting on September 3. We also congratulate trustee Jerry Sodomlak (Ward 1) on being re-elected vice-chair.

When will RETSD have non-instructional co-ordinated days?

To support our schools and allow them to collaborate and plan for temporary remote learning during the pandemic, RETSD will have non-instructional co-ordinated days on Nov. 23 and Nov. 24, 2020, and Feb. 5, 2021. There will be no school on those days.

What is the torch?

The first issue of The Torch for the 2019–20 school year is now available online. The Torch is the board of trustees' newsletter to the community and is published several times a year and delivered by Canada Post to RETSD-area homes.
