We are happy to announce the Parent Module for Genesis, the online student information system, is now available to all parents. This web-based system will enable you to access your student’s grades, attendance, and other important information from any computer with an Internet connection. What is the HCA program?

HCA is a college preparatory day school for students in preschool through grade twelve. HCA provides a strong academic program based on the truths and principles of Scripture.

What is an HCA online student?

HCA Online students are provided with one or more course facilitators – HCA teachers that will stay connected with the student, provide grading and additional academic support, and encourage spiritual development. Elementary school students will typically have a single facilitator that will assist them with all subjects. Secondary students may have several facilitators, depending on subject matter.

Is Christian service required for HCA?

Yes, Christian Service is required of all HCA middle and high school students (traditional and online). For more information, see our Christian Service page of the Parent Portal.

Can assessments be completed online?

Many assessments are completed digitally on the online learning platform, proctored by the Learning Coach. Some assessments may be completed offline and submitted digitally through the online learning platform. Other assessments may be conducted live during synchronous sessions (e.g. K-2).
