Hampton City Schools offers a “ Parent Portal ” for parents and guardians to access their student’s grades and attendance information all in one secure, easy-to-use web site. With the Parent Portal, you can: Follow your student's progress throughout the school year online in one secure, convenient location
Parent Portal startup packages are sent to parents in the fall containing account credentials, instructions and helpful tips. Copyright © 2018 Hampton City Schools. All Rights Reserved.
The PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal requires a unique username and password to access individual student information. There will be one parent/guardian username and password assigned for EACH student in the family.
Beginning second semester, HCS will begin offering after-school care with AlphaBEST at many of our elementary school campuses. Much like last year, HCS will also offer tutoring before and after school for elementary students who meet the requirements of the Alabama Literacy Act.
Compatible web browsers include: Internet Explorer 8, Firefox, Safari and Chrome. The PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal can be found at the following secured web address:
Print Page: Several pages in PowerSchool Parent Portal display a printer icon at the bottom of the page. Click this icon and a printer-friendly version of the page displays in a secondary browser window.
Email Notification: Parent/guardians may elect to have email notifications sent to them. By clicking on the Email notification icon they can schedule when they would like to receive emails and in what format they would like the information. Students will not see this icon when logged in through the student account.
A parent/guardian or student can also view the cumulative grade for each course in which the student is currently enrolled. This view provides a summary detailing exactly where a student stands in each course area for the current semester. These are live grades as they exist in the teacher’s grade book.
Logout: You can log out of PowerSchool Parent Portal from any page in the application.
The Parent Portal is a free, computer-based online system that allows parents/guardians to view their child’s attendance, schedule, grades and reports.
You will need your child’s “Student ID Number,” which is located on the most recent copy of their progress report or report card or can be obtained by contacting your student’s guidance department (see contact information below).
You should need to register only once to see all the children in your household. You will need to create a username and the new password must be at least 6 characters long with at least one number. Please create the account using Parent/Guardian Name. You must also put in a valid e-mail address.
