The February 17, 2022 Board of Education Meeting will be held in-person and via live stream. The meeting will take place in the Community Center Cafeteria at 7:30pm and will include the 2022-2023 Draft Budget Overview Presentation #1 by Dr. Fino Celano and Lisa Rutkoske.

In new ranking results announced by U.S. News & World Report, Herricks Middle School placed among the top middle schools in New York State at No. 29 and is No. 3 out of those from Long Island. The building’s reading and math performance data was described as “Well Above Expectation” by the publication.
The Herricks Public Schools is excited to announce that students will now have the opportunity to achieve the New York State Seal of Biliteracy (NYSSB). The NYSSB recognizes students who develop high levels of proficiency in English and one or more world languages.
The Herricks Public Schools was ranked No. 7 on Niche.com’s list of Best School Districts in the State of New York out of 672 districts. Herricks is No. 5 among those listed from Long Island and received an overall Niche grade of A+.
