What is Highfields School?

We are a non-selective, co-educational, independent day school and nursery based in the historic market town of Newark, for girls and boys aged from 2 to 11. At Highfields we are proud of the many things we do to help your child feel welcome, valued and encouraged as an individual.

At Highfields we are proud of the many things we do to help your child feel welcome, valued and encouraged as an individual. Our Nursery is open five days a week term time only and offers a full day from 7.30am until 6.00pm accepting children from the age of 2.

Why should I use the parent portal?

This will enable you to access relevant New Parent Documents as well as a Medical Forms and New Pupil Forms which will need you to take the time to read and complete as appropriate. I hope you enjoy using our Parent Portal.

Students with injuries

If your child has an injury which may affect their mobility around school (particularly if they are using crutches) please could you telephone school, as a risk assessment may be required before they return. Thank you.

Information Regarding School Closures

In the event of the decision being made not to open school, due to extreme weather or other circumstances, a message will be sent to the local radio stations to broadcast the closure, regular updates will be posted on the school website (remember to regularly refresh the page to view the latest information) and the ParentMail service will be used to text parents/carers who have provided their contact details.
