Highland High School will empower students to use knowledge, skills, and strategies to become productive members of society who use higher level thinking. The transition from traditional education to facilitated education is the transition from consumers of knowledge to producers of knowledge. Producers of knowledge use many different modalities as they work collaboratively with both teachers and peers to comprehend and synthesize information to answer real world questions.

Enjoy this musical performance by the Highland High School choir. The musicians’ “Armed Forces Salute” —a medley of songs honoring the men and women who died serving in the U.S. Army, Coast Guard, Air Force, Marines, and Navy—was a virtual performance featuring HHS alumnus Minh Tran (Class of 2020) on piano accompaniment, and artwork contributed by HHS students. All vocals and musical parts were recorded separately and edited together with the visuals by HHS vocal music teacher Erin Bradley and junior Camryn Moschitta.
