Every month the Teacher Cadets in the Hightstown High School Tomorrow's Teachers class find and present quotes they feel apply to education or learning. The quotes are shared with the school via a hallway bulletin board. HHS Red Cross Club donated over 100 toys to the Rise organization for their Holiday Drive-Thru.

The East Windsor Regional School District currently uses a program called SchoolMessenger to communicate on a large scale with district staff and parents. These communications take the form of emails or phone calls. In an effort to provide faster and more direct messages, the district will begin to utilize SMS or text messaging, as well.
EWRSD has been allocated funds under the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021 . The ARP Act provides Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) funds to school districts to support the safe reopening of schools in September 2021. The ARP Act requires each District that receives ARP ESSER funds to develop and make publicly available on its website, a plan for the safe return to in-person instruction and continuity of services for all schools (EWRSD Safe Return Plan).
