Why principal Hillside Elementary School?

It is with honor that I serve as the principal of Hillside Elementary School where there is “A Concern for Each Child and a Commitment to Excellence.” Hillside Elementary School provides a strong foundation in reading, writing, and math. In addition, our students engage in programs in STEM, hands-on science, technology, and Spanish.

Beyond the valuable advisor-family connection, parents are encouraged to engage with the Hillside community during events throughout the school year, through visits to campus, or by cheering on our athletic teams, home or away. All resources are intended for educational purposes only. Parental supervision is always recommended whenever students are on the internet. When online, there is always potential for a child to access links that may lead to inappropriate content.

What is Hillside School?

The Hillside School is an independent school for students in first through 8th grade who have language-based learning disabilities as well as auditory, visual, and sensory processing disorders that affect learning. These include dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia, working memory deficits, ADHD, executive functioning deficits, and nonverbal learning issues.
