Who should have a login? HomeLink Parent Portal is available for all MDUSD students andlegal guardians. There are a variety of reasons to have a HomeLink Parent Portal account, and some of the benefits include the ability to check student grades , test scores, attendance, as well as other contact and registration features.

What is home link?

Welcome to Home Link! We are a Parent Partnership Program where parents of home-schooled children and specialists from the Deer Park School District work together to define the educational goals and materials parents and students use at home. Home Link started in September 2000 with 38 students; today, we are 450 students strong!

What is the difference between student/parent/guardian Homelink accounts?

Student HomeLink accounts are predefined to match their district email account ( firstname.lastname@student.rjuhsd.us) Parent\Guardian HomeLink accounts are created using the email account (s) provided during the student registration or data confirmation process.

What is home link?

Partnering with families is the cornerstone of the Home Link experience. As a “Parent Partnership Program” operating under Washington’s ALE rules, Home Link staff work to support families who chose to educate their children using a homeschooling approach. Home Link staff offer support, guidance, and accountability/compliance structures to parents who serve as their child’s primary educator. While program staff (consultants) assist families with the development of learning plans and are often deeply involved in curriculum choices, the parent partnership model requires a high amount of parent involvement and ownership.

What is Deer Park Home Link?

Our partnership is rooted in COMMUNICATION between families and staff to enhance student learning using current ALE laws as our guide. We foster three-way ACCOUNTABILITY : (1) Home Link staff are held accountable to be supportive, knowledgeable, and helpful to our families. (2) Families are responsible for teaching their children, supporting the program in its obligation to comply with Washington’s ALE laws. (3) Students are responsible for their learning.

What is WSLP in school?

The WSLP (written student learning plan) serves as a dynamic “contract” between the school and the family. The plan is developed by the certificated teacher (in conjunction with the families) and explains the activities for the month, what the student expectations are, and how progress will be demonstrated.

When is Molly's memo 2021?

Molly’s MEMO! May 24 through May 27, 2021. A week of finality! Finals in high school courses, final week of classes in the program, final week to turn things in, final time to see a few friends before summer hits! Hey, it’s even the final memo!!
