Choosing independent study for your children is one of the most important decisions you can make in their educational process. The idea of spending more time as a family and helping to shape your child’s educational decisions and future is truly exciting.

Parent Educator

Sometimes parents need additional assistance teaching particular subjects or children with different learning styles. To help you with these hurdles, our well-trained Parent Educator teaches free parent workshops and provides no-cost one-on-one training on a variety of subjects.

Parent Support

Over the years, parents have confided in us that one of their biggest concerns about homeschooling is a lack of socialization for their children. To alleviate that fear, our Parent Support Department coordinates activities and events that bring HCS families together.

Curriculum Resource Center

Unique to most charter schools, our extensive, well-stocked Curriculum Resource Center (CRC) houses a rich collection of materials you can borrow and grade-level curriculum on display to help enhance your children’s educational journey.
