Hornell CSD students succeed in the classroom and competition in the fall season.
For many students, swimming during P.E. is their first opportunity to take formal lessons. This school year is the first time that second and third-grade students have the opportunity to participate in the swim lesson curriculum.
This year, eleven Hornell City School District students participated in the annual Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) Regional Competition, held December 20, 2021, at Alfred State College in Alfred, NY. Thirty-one students from Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Steuben counties attended. Comments (-1)
Erica Siebert has worked with the district since 2015 and became the Director of Elementary Education in 2018. She holds undergraduate degrees in Elementary Education and French from SUNY Potsdam as well as a graduate degree as a Reading Teacher from SUNY Geneseo and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership from SUNY Brockport.
Amy Feeley has worked with the district since 1999 and became the Director of Pupil Personnel in 2008. She holds an undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Ithaca College as well as graduate degrees in Literacy from Alfred University, Speech-Language Pathology from SUNY Geneseo and Educational Leadership from SUNY Brockport.
