Verify the parent information and correct as necessary. The email address for the contact you are logged in as, will show as locked. To change your Parent Portal email account or the password, click on Options in the upper right corner. IMPORTANT – this is also where you add Emergency Contacts for your student.
The email address found in the Aeries Parent Portal is used for communication between the district, site, and teachers to parents. It is important that this be the best way to contact you. You might have seen the field under DATA CONFIRMATION where you review what address is on file and noticed that the email field is locked.
If the parent is not sure what email address they used for their account, they can call the school and you can locate this information on the student's contact record, within the 'Parent Portal Access' page. It can also be found within the Parent Portal Accounts page.
Parent Portal passwords can be reset within the student record. Go to Households (1)–>Parent Portal Access (2). Then click on the reset password (3) link under the “ send password reset ” column. You can also see what email address the parent used to create their account under the parent portal account column.

The In Progress Percent is also calculated based on the scores entered. The In Progress Grade is determined based on the Grading Scale selected in the Grade Calculation Options. The Grade Calculation Option to Calculate In Progress Grade must be selected for these columns to appear.
Removing an account - To remove an account altogether, click the red X on the left side of the screen next to the email address. This deletes the account completely.

The best way to update your contact information and to ensure you receive district and school phone, email and text notifications is through your Family Portal (ParentVUE) account.
Enter your email address on Email #1 to change or add Primary Email. It is important to have the Primary Email up-to-date as it is used by schools to send messages and notifications to parents. Email #2 thru #5 are optional.

Only parent accounts can view student data and/or complete the data confirmation process. Please do not allow your student to create a Student account. The portal will not contain any useful information for them and it creates a problem for other systems at this time.
