Create Parent Account
Portal has been replaced with a new parent portal application called ParentVUE. To access ParentVUE, parents will need to activate a new parent portal account. In order to activate your account, MCPS parents will receive an account activation letter that includes a unique Activation Key or URL necessary for setting up a ParentVUE account.

If you haven't already added an email to the account, you can do so in one of two ways: Clicking the Present Icon at the bottom of the screen.; Opening the Settings window and clicking the Update button.; From there, follow the prompts on screen and an activation link will be sent to the email you input.

Before a child turns 13, parents will get an email letting them know their child will be eligible to take charge of their account on their birthday, so you can no longer manage their account.
