When will Hunterdon Central offer summer counseling?

Counseling Services is offering summer programs in both group and individual counseling, beginning in July 2021. The programs are run by Hunterdon Central's Student Assistance Counselors and will address both student wellness and the need for continued mental health support.

Does Hunterdon Central have summer reading?

While Hunterdon Central does not have summer assignments for any of its classes, the English Department and the IMC promote independent reading as a way to develop the habits of lifelong reading, to discover passions, and to pursue personal inquiry and interests. The Pearl River School District will return to full in-person learning for all of our students in grades K-12 on September 1, 2021. We will follow social distancing protocols of three feet wherever possible to accommodate all of our students in their classrooms. We will not offer an optional remote learning platform, however, we will support our students with remote learning in cases of quarantine.

Is Pearl River School District testing free?

Pearl River School District is offering free COVID-19 testing (PCR nasal swab) for students currently enrolled in our District . This optional testing can be used for student COVID-19 exposures and for any required testing of sports athletes. Please note that testing is not open to parents or children of preschool age.
