Through the Parent/Guest Portal, a student at California University of Pennsylvania can provide parents or other trusted "guests" with access to his/her University records, such as financial aid and billing information, grades and transfer credit details. The student also may give permission for a parent or guest to make payments through this portal.

The CalCard is your student's official Cal U ID card. The CalCard provides access to campus events and activities, residence halls, Vulcan Theatre and Herron Recreation and Fitness Center. It also provides borrowing privileges at Manderino Library. CalCard holders can ride the Vulcan Flyer shuttle, as well as Mid Mon Valley Transit Authority bus routes, free of charge.

Your Cal U student may want to share information about his/her grades, financial aid, billing or transfer credits with you or another trusted person. These records are protected from disclosure under FERPA, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
Tier 2 parking, primarily for residence hall students, is $150 per semester. Permits are renewable online three to four weeks before the end of the semester. How long is a parking permit good for? Student parking permits are valid for one semester, but they may be renewed each semester while the student is enrolled.
The free Vulcan Flyer shuttles provide regular transportation between Vulcan Village and the main campus. Shuttles make 108 round trips per day and arrive about every 15 minutes. Once an hour the Vulcan Flyer “shopper” makes an extended run to the Walmart in West Brownsville.
Vulcan Village provides its residents with a Village parking permit, which allows them to park at Vulcan Village only. Students may ride the free Vulcan Flyer shuttle between Vulcan Village and the main campus, or they may purchase a permit to park on campus.
There are no free places to park on campus; however, students can utilize the Park-and-Ride lot across Route 88 from Vulcan Village and use the Vulcan Flyer shuttles to reach campus. The Park-and-Ride lot is free; no overnight parking is allowed.
Yes! Move-In Day is a special time on campus, and the parking lots near our residence halls will be set up to receive incoming students and their belongings. You will be directed to unload your vehicle near your student’s residence hall and then move your vehicle to Lot 4 (also called the River Lot).
Permits are not renewed automatically – you must apply to renew your parking permit each semester. We strongly recommend that students renew their permits as soon as the renewal period opens. Failure to renew a permit renders it invalid, and the permit must be returned.
Parking regulations are enforced 24/7 during the spring and fall semesters , and special permits are issued for parking at Cal U during the summer term.
This "hang-tag" permit is required to park on campus, unless you are using one of the pay-by-meter spaces in Lot 11 or Lot 17.
Vulcan Village. Parking is included in the lease agreement for students who live at Vulcan Village. You can park your car near your Vulcan Village apartment and ride the free Vulcan Flyer shuttle to and from the main campus. If you need to park regularly on the main campus, you must purchase a parking permit.
