Your student may use the Cal U Parent/Guest Portal to grant permission for a parent or guest to access this protected information and make payments to the student's California University account. The Parent/Guest Portal is the only avenue for a California University of Pennsylvania student to grant third-party access to his/her records.

A parent or guest's username and pin for the portal does not automatically grant access to the Student Account Suite. Parents and guests must complete a separate registration process once they are added as an "authorized user" by their student in the billing section of VIP.
The student also may give permission for a parent or guest to make payments through this portal. In addition, Cal U students can use the Parent/Guest Portal to establish a FERPA passphrase, which the parent or guest must use to confirm his/her identity when calling a University office regarding the student's records.

The CalCard is your student's official Cal U ID card. The CalCard provides access to campus events and activities, residence halls, Vulcan Theatre and Herron Recreation and Fitness Center. It also provides borrowing privileges at Manderino Library. CalCard holders can ride the Vulcan Flyer shuttle, as well as Mid Mon Valley Transit Authority bus routes, free of charge.
