At Cicero District 99’s regular board of education meeting on Wednesday, June 16, Cicero resident Maria Moreno was appointed by the board to fill the vacancy of the late Larry Polk, the long-time board member who passed away in early May. Moreno will serve on the board until the April 2023 election.
