Inspire School Programs launched in 2008 to provide mentoring programs in middle schools. Since then, Inspire developed SEL currriculum, trained mentors, implemented programs in high schools and created empowering events.
Since 2012, Inspire mentored over 15,000 middle and high school students in the Southern Dallas area. Whether school assemblies, annual field trip luncheons or dream board parties, over 25,000 students attended Inspire events. Through Inspire Collaboratives, six states welcomed mentoring programs into their local schools.
Through Inspire Collaboratives, six states welcomed mentoring programs into their local schools. Inspire uses classroom mentoring, curriculum and events to create a safe environment to help students develop in SEL competencies. Inspire works with local schools to determine their specific student issues and address them in programs.
We depend on programs such as Inspire to teach our young ladies and young men how to keep their heads up, increase positive self-esteem and self-value, and to understand their ability to overcome any obstacles that come their way and to move past things that occurred in their pasts.
IDEA Public Schools is using Microsoft Teams – a software that is safe, secure, and provides multiple options for learning.
IDEA’s Virtual Classrooms are Internet-based “rooms” where students will receive lessons through video, attend class with the teacher, assignments, take quizzes, or other ways their teachers have decided to support their Distance Learning.
The biggest difference is our students will be coming to class from the safety of their own homes!
When your child first logs in, they should be greeted by the classes they have been enrolled in by their teachers. Clicking on the class allows the student to begin interacting with their lessons immediately – but please consult the daily schedule for specifics.
