What is the parent portal?

The Parent Portal is a free, computer-based online system that allows parents/guardians to view their child’s attendance, schedule, grades and reports.

Where is my student ID number?

You will need your child’s “Student ID Number,” which is located on the most recent copy of their progress report or report card or can be obtained by contacting your student’s guidance department (see contact information below).

How many times do you need to register for a child's account?

You should need to register only once to see all the children in your household. You will need to create a username and the new password must be at least 6 characters long with at least one number. Please create the account using Parent/Guardian Name. You must also put in a valid e-mail address.

How to register for a parent portal?

A. You will need to fill out the online form on the Parent Portal Login page entitled Parent Portal Registration. It is very important that you register for an account using the SAME contact information (first name, last name, email address, street address) that we have on file for you. Your first and last name, as well as your email address need to match what is already in eSchoolData or the account will be denied.

What grades can parents access the portal?

A. All parents with students in grades 7-12 can access the portal. You will find information about his or her schedule, attendance, grades, contact information, transcripts, etc. Q.

What is the information on the eSchoolData Parent Portal?

A. Information on the eSchoolData Parent Portal is updated based on district-defined parameters. If you have questions when you are viewing the information in each section, be sure to refer to the “last updated” indicator on that screen.

A. Please send an email to portal@hoosickfallscsd.org requesting assistance with your account. Include your student’s first and last name and grade level along with your contact information.

What is eSchoolData?

A. eSchoolData is a district-wide student information system.

Who is eligible to register for eSchoolData?

A. Only parents and guardians of currently enrolled students flagged to receive correspondence are eligible to register for an eSchoolData Parent Portal account.

Can parents add students to their own account?

A. Yes. Both parents can use the same student information to add a student to their own account but they must use separate email addresses.
