What happened to Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre?

As capital works continue at Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre we have temporarily moved our sessions to Peakhurst West Pool and as of 1st September, they will be at Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre (Bexley Aquatic). Our change in location is only 5km down the road from Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre.

Will aqua aerobics be held at Bexley or Hurstville?

Although Aqua Aerobics will be held at Bexley Aquatic, only Hurstville members will be able to book into Hurstville allocated classes and vice versa to avoid class capacities. The class timetable will include the following:

What activities are there for the children at the Aquatic Centre?

We have a variety activities for the children to enjoy including bowling, movies, arcade, swimming and most importantly…The Water Slide and The Inflatables. Due to this program being at an Aquatic Centre, some of the activities will be in the pool. If your child can not swim more than 25m please indicate on the enrolment form

When will Aqua classes start in Hurstville?

Aqua classes will start at Hurstville on Tuesday 6th April. You can view our current timetable here. Our aquatic only members that are currently on suspension will have access to our facility from Saturday, 3rd April 2021 with the first debit occurring on Friday, 9th April 2021.

When will lap swimming be available in 2021?

Start looking for your swimmers and towels because we are very excited to announce the re-opening of our aquatics area on Saturday, April 3rd. As part of the re-opening, key services will return to our aquatics space over the coming week. Lap swimming will be available from Saturday, April 3rd 2021.

Is Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre open?

The Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre (Bexley) outdoor pool is currently scheduled to open to the public in September if NSW Public Health Orders permit. The indoor pool is currently open for Learn to Swim and families will soon be invited to recommence at this facility.

Are you after a fun activity for your children to get involved in, or a way to boost your own fitness and confidence in the water? BlueFit swim school is now open at Hurstville, offering lessons to people of all ages and abilities.
