What is the International Academy of Macomb?

The International Academy of Macomb, officially designated as an IB World School in December 2009, is a county-wide International Baccalaureate magnet school. The IAM offers students in Macomb County the IB Diploma Programme and IB Middle Years Program.

How do I apply for the IAM?

The IAM was included this year: The IAM Application is available beginning December 1st! You will need to create an account on our application portal, OpenApply. Once you have created your account you will have a checklist with items to submit to complete the application.

When will the newly admitted student be able to login?

Newly admitted student will able to login once their registration is approved by the Competent Authority All new students please note that your new email will be activated after the last date of admission and you will get email from admin. When is IAM 2021?

The first is a pre-recorded virtual honors program which will be broadcast on May 25. The link to honors night will be available on our website and on YouTube. The second is our commencement that will take place a Jimmy John's Field on May 27. We look forward to these great events to honor the IAM Class of 2021!

When will MYP report cards be mailed?

Separate from traditional final grades, MYP report cards will be mailed home at the beginning of June. This is an opportunity for both 9th and 10th grade students to review the progress they have made toward mastery of the MYP criteria in each subject.
