Illinois Tech has received a limited amount of funding to assist students with emergency grants through the CARES Act. The CARES Act specifically designates these funds under the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) to provide direct grant assistance to students to cover expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19.
