How do I enroll my child (ren) in Indianola community school district?

You must submit all required paperwork before we can enroll your child (ren) in the Indianola Community School District. Upon receipt of all required documentation, a link will be emailed to you to complete the online enrollment process through PowerSchool Enrollment.

How does Indianola informal school work?

They will only attend one morning according to their last name. Your child can ride an assigned bus to school but must be picked up in person at noon. Kindergarten students start full day school. Indianola Informal is a K-8 public school located in Columbus, Ohio. Our school is a lottery school and part of the Columbus City Schools.

Preparing your Child For Camp

Success at Camp and how to avoid Homesickness: We want to help you as a parent to set your child up for success at camp. While homesickness is very rare here at Camp Indianola where we play hard all day, we wanted to inform you about some tips and techniques to help your child prepare for a week away from their normal routine.

Camp Information

Before camp starts, you will receive an email with more extensive information about the camp’s starting time, packing list, and any additional information you need to know. You are always welcome to email or call for more information that you need!

As we have all learned during the last years, our recommendations about how to appropriately navigate COVID shifts as our knowledge of the virus and the social situation change. We have learned that we need to be flexible.

The following documents are legal requirements that you will need to submit during the enrollment process. It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to provide all of these documents before you will be sent the link to complete online enrollment.

Eligibility

Indianola Child Care is owned and operated by the Indianola Community School District and licensed by the Department of Human Services. Any child attending school in the Indianola Community School District, preschool-grade 5, may be enrolled in the Indianola Child Care Program.
