Schaumburg School District 54, located in northeast Illinois, has 27 schools with more than 14,000 students. In 2009, Schaumberg chose Infinite Campus for its flexible scheduling, customizable reporting options, and advanced data analysis capabilities. Today, the district uses Tableau to visualize individual student and district-level data.

If you do not have a portal account, you can also email the required documents to registrationdocuments@sd54.org. the most recent real estate tax bill or mortgage statement for the residence showing the owner as the taxpayer; a closing statement for the purchase of the residence. receipt for local city vehicle sticker where applicable.

Families new to District 54 must provide documented proof of their residence within the boundaries of the district to enroll a child in District 54 schools for the first time and every year thereafter during registration. All documents provided must be current and reflect your name and address within District 54 boundaries.
District 54’s Early Learning Center offers programs for children ages 3 to 5 who have been identified as needing special education due to a disability or who are screened and identified as not progressing at a rate anticipated for potential success in kindergarten due to one or more at-risk variables. District 54 reserves the right to revoke approval if a student’s attendance , behavior or tardiness becomes problematic or if District 54 determines that the transportation arranged by the parent poses a safety issue.
Should a parent’s request for re-assignment be approved, the parent will be required to provide transportation to and from school. Approval is typically granted in August. Requests must be made annually to the school principal before May 1.

Any person asserting legal custody over a student, who is not the student’s parent or legal guardian, must provide current documentation from a court supporting the student custody arrangement.
Instead of attending their neighborhood school, students who live in District 54 and are registered to attend District 54 schools can apply to attend one of our schools that offer unique learning opportunities , such as Chinese Immersion, Japanese Dual Language and Spanish Dual Language. Every year, District 54 welcomes hundreds of new families into our community and we are so excited for you to be a part of it. We hope to make this transition a simple and seamless one. Upon moving into the district, parents will need to register their students at their base schools. Upon receipt of gifted records from the previous school, District 54 will determine if a student is eligible for services or needs further assessment to determine eligibility. No outside private evaluations are accepted for any District 54 gifted service or programs.

However, i f a student should remain in remote learning due to a medical condition or if the child lives with an individual who is medically fragile, please complete the District 54 Remote Learning Accommodation Form ( Spanish Form) and have it signed by a healthcare provider. District 54 does not provide child care services. However, on school days, child care is available before and after school at schools through programs provided by the Schaumburg Park District, the Campanelli YMCA and the Hoffman Estates Park District.
