ISI is partnering with the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies at Indiana University to launch a new language immersion-focused summer camp June 14-25 in Indianapolis.
The International Baccalaureate, or IB, is a worldwide education program designed to provide students with an education fit for a globalizing world. The IB stresses the importance not only of academic achievement but also personal development in the classroom. With immersion and dual language programs in French, Mandarin, Spanish, and English, the IB develops worldly thinkers. Here are the top five reasons ISI recommends pursuing an IB diploma.
Nia and the other Central Indiana students are among 300 young people from across the country who were selected as Student Leaders for an eight-week, paid internship, working closely with local nonprofits.
Claire Kaneshiro of Indianapolis -- 4.66 GPA, a near-perfect SAT score, and fluency in Chinese, Spanish and English -- is among 15,000 students nationwide chosen for the prestigious honor. Claire now is eligible for one of 7,500 one-time scholarships awarded by the National Merit Scholarship Program.
Sweaters and sweatshirts must bear the ISI logo on the left side of the chest and be layered with a collared shirt or turtleneck with the ISI logo. Gryphon Gear sweatshirts are acceptable on modified dress code days or during gym classes (though only in orange, navy and gray).
