“After reviewing the debt structures and the rest of our levy, the board felt that reducing the levy from the preliminary amounts made the most sense for the district and its constituents at this time,” said ISD 318 Superintendent Matt Grose.

In the midst of dealing with the challenges of the last two years, our school district has been thinking about its future. Getting input from staff, students, and our community is a big part of that. We would like to know more from our community about how we are doing as a school district and what our community expects from us.
This year ISD 318 will be participating in the 2022 Minnesota Student Survey (MSS). This survey is administered every three years to students in the following grade levels: 5th, 8th, 9th and 11th. The survey is anonymous and is conducted to gain insight into student experiences across the state.
At GRHS, students have many ways of earning college credits while completing the credits necessary for graduation. One of those programs is College in the Schools (CITS). The CITS Program lets students earn college credit while staying on campus.
At a School Board workshop on November 8, the ISD 318 School Board discussed options for reducing the levy and the tax impact on ISD 318 residents.
On Monday, October 25, the ISD 318 School Board approved naming the GRHS practice football/lacrosse field based on the recommendation of a naming committee that had been assembled. The field will be known as the Tom Drazenovich Field. Tommy D was known for his impact on and off the field.
Schoology is a social media-type interface where teachers can post assignments, class documents, resources, and calendar events for upcoming projects. It can also serve as a digital extension of the classroom, enabling online discussion of course content, submission of assignments, and more.
Seesaw is a platform that PreK-3 (and some 4th and 5th grade) students can use to showcase what they’re learning and doing at school with their families. Students can add voice recordings, photos, videos, drawings, notes and much more. Families can see all of this, connecting them to their child’s classroom.
Titan School Solutions is an online tool parents can use to load money into their student’s lunch account and to see their student’s lunch purchases. Titan can also be used to apply for educational benefits such as free and reduced price meals.
