What is campus portal and how does it work?

Available as Campus Student (for students) and Campus Parent (for parents), Campus Portal allows you to better understand, monitor, and participate in the educational process with real-time access to student information for the current school year.

How do I integrate Schoology with campus Parent Portal?

Select options for receiving email communications from your school, and connect with other systems like Schoology online student learning and RevTrak online payments. Once your Campus Parent Portal account is setup, you can activate your Schoology account if you have a child in grades 3-12.

What is Parent Portal?

Parent Portal is our tool for parents and students to access instant, online, timely and secure student information such as class schedule, assignments, attendance, and report cards, accessible at www.isd728.org/portal. Parent Portal also allows you to select options for receiving communications from your school and school district.

How do I obtain an account?

If you missed the annual mid-August welcome email containing your portal activation instructions, request your unique Activation information using the contact info available under the Help area on the right. Once you have your info, go to the Parent Portal log-in page at www.isd728.org/portal to activate your account.

Where is the ISD 728?

Parents can opt out by submitting a letter to the ISD 728 Technology Department at 11500 193rd Avenue NW, Elk River, 55330. The military is entitled to additional information as defined by Federal and state statutes, making email addresses available to the Military for for recruitment purposes only. When should I use Campus Parent vs Schoology Parent Access?

Campus in many cases is still the place where final grades will be posted . Video Coming Soon!

What if I share my portal account and/or my email address with others in my household, how will this work for me?

If you would prefer to have seperate accounts, use the Campus Parent Portal Support Request Form to send another email address and have the second Campus account created . If you need to create an email address, you can sign-up for free email services from Google Gmail , Microsoft Outlook , Yahoo, or other web-based email services of your choosing.

Can you reset your password on Schoology?

Schoology and other systems usernames and passwords are changed separately at each system at this time - so changing your password for one does NOT change your password for all accounts.

Can I link my Schoology account to another school?

The email address may already be linked to another school district or college outside of Independent School District 728. Schoology allows linking and toggling between ISD 728 and these other schools to access all of your children from a single login. Follow Schoology’s How Do I Link Accounts instructions, using your ISD 728 username based on the first part of your email address (ie joe instead of joe@gmail.com).
