Jamestown Public Schools will offer summer learning opportunities for kindergarten through ninth grade this summer. K through 6th grade can participate in the JPS LEAP, 7th and 8th grade students can get a JUMP on the 2021-22 school year by working on project-based learning and 9th graders can join BRIDGE, a summer transition program.

The Jamestown High School Equity Committee partnered with the YWCA's stand against racism event on Friday, April 24th. Students and staff wanted to show that they are united in the stance against racism in our schools and community. They gathered in the front courtyard to take a group photo, which will be featured on the YWCA website along with photos from across the nation under #StandAgainstRacism
Due to new NYSDOH guidance released yesterday that eliminates previously imposed capacity limits, JHS is pleased to announce that they can now hold one graduation ceremony on Friday, June 25th at 7 p.m. in the Chautauqua Institution Amphitheater for all 2021 graduates. There will be no restrictions on the number of guests that can attend the ceremony, however, all unvaccinated attendees must wear a mask, including children under 12. The Jefferson Middle School Jaguar Chorus will hold a concert on Thursday June 10th @ 7 PM (in-person is for families only) but there will be a live stream of the concert for the community HERE - enjoy a wonderful concert by our students!
