From the very beginning, Jesuit works to make sure new students feel comfortable and become involved. Freshmen counselors meet individually with students to determine how best to make their transition to Jesuit as easy as possible. In addition, all Freshmen have a Senior Big Brother who helps guide and mentors their Little Brothers.
The philosophy of the Jesuit High School Counseling Department is rooted firmly in the Jesuit concept of cura personalis, that is, to address the needs of each individual. Therefore, this comprehensive counseling program seeks to meet the personal, academic, college and career needs of our students.

of Jesuit students attend college, university, or military academy. Student orientations for the 2021-2022 school year will begin on Wednesday, August 11th and continue through August 12th.
Students who were not able to take their school picture at their class orientation may make it up and receive their ID cards (all students are required to wear a JHS-authorized logowear collared polo and dress code pants or shorts). This is in addition to your class-level orientation.
