What's new in 2022 at Lakeville area schools?

At Lakeville Area Schools, we are student focused, community connected. Effective Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, the District will be adjusting its pandemic safety plan to make face coverings recommended and not required in Early Childhood through Grade 12.

Schoology

Schoology is a social media-type interface where teachers can post assignments, class documents, resources, and calendar events for upcoming projects. It can also serve as a digital extension of the classroom, enabling online discussion of course content, submission of assignments, and more.

Seesaw

Seesaw is a platform that PreK-3 (and some 4th and 5th grade) students can use to showcase what they’re learning and doing at school with their families. Students can add voice recordings, photos, videos, drawings, notes and much more. Families can see all of this, connecting them to their child’s classroom.

Titan School Solutions (Lunch Account)

Titan School Solutions is an online tool parents can use to load money into their student’s lunch account and to see their student’s lunch purchases. Titan can also be used to apply for educational benefits such as free and reduced price meals.

Attendance Line - 952-232-2819

When a student is absent for any reason, the parent is expected to notify the school at 952-232-2819. Please provide your child’s name, teacher’s name, grade level, and reason for the absence.

Visitor Information

When visiting JFK Elementary, please use our Visitor Security System. This system allows students, families, staff, and community members to visit our schools and help ensure a safe and secure environment for all. If you plan to visit during the school day, please bring your state-issued ID, such as your driver’s license to swipe upon entrance.

JFK Elementary PTO

The John F. Kennedy (JFK) Elementary PTO consists of parents, teachers, and school staff. The goal of the PTO is to promote volunteerism of parents, encouragement of teachers and students, community involvement, and the welfare of JFK Elementary students and families.

PTO Meeting Dates

JFK Elementary PTO meetings are generally the second Tuesday of every month in the JFK Media Center at 6:30 pm. However, due to the current COVID regulations, PTO meeting will be held online. A meeting link will be emailed out a day prior to the meeting along with the agenda. Dates are subject to change.
