This is a document proving that a student was or was not enrolled in some capacity during a certain time frame. Students can access and print an enrollment verification certificate from the National Student Clearinghouse at any time through their SIS self-service account.
It is University policy that all full-time students maintain adequate health insurance coverage to provide protection against unexpected accidents and illnesses. Students will be automatically enrolled in the university’s student-sponsored health benefits plan every academic year for annual coverage beginning August 15th.

No. Students may elect direct deposit to any financial institution in the continental U.S. that participates in the Automatic Clearing House. Otherwise, they will receive a paper paycheck.
Yes. Student earnings are subject to Maryland state tax, including Federal Work Study. This is due to the student’s local residency while here at school. The only exception to this tax rule is if the student resides in another state and commutes to and from school on a daily basis. If your student’s earnings fall below a certain level, they may qualify to be EXEMPT from tax withholding.
To access the forms: Log into your Health WebPortal account. Click the “My Forms” tab. Complete each of the five required online health forms (please disregard the contraceptive refill form) The information provided on your online health forms will be automatically added to your electronic medical record.
