Welcome To Jamnabai Narsee School

Jamnabai Narsee School, situated in the western suburbs of Mumbai, stands tall as a premium educational institution of international standards in India. We provide quality education, right from the Pre – School to the Indian School Certificate (ISC) examination.

Our Mission

A desire to achieve excellence in all areas of endeavour. Respect for all forms of authority and for fellow students. Concern for the needs of others, and consideration for the less fortunate. Awareness of the environment and of their responsibility to conserve it.

PRE – SCHOOL

The preschool programme (Nursery, Junior and Senior KG) aims at fostering happy and productive teaching learning environments that are conducive to the growth of multiple intelligences as well as social and fine motor skills. Teaching is interactive and often transacted through storytelling, reading books and muppet and puppet shows.

PRIMARY SCHOOL

In the primary classes (Std. I to IV) we believe 'Direct Experience' is the basis for all learning. The curriculum in the primary school is organized according to the fourfold interests of the child – in conversation, inquiry, construction and artistic expression.

SECONDARY SCHOOL

The distribution of the curriculum is not isolated into branches of knowledge but an inter-disciplinary approach is adopted. In the middle school (Std V to VIII), teachers design the curriculum and select textbooks that offer creative educative experiences.

HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL (ISC)

The Indian School Certificate Examination has been designed as an examination through the medium of English, in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986, after a two-year course of studies beyond the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ICSE) or its equivalent.
