Students engage in dozens of service projects throughout the year in support of the greater St. Louis community. In March 2021, JBS students organized the first Greater Saint Louis Model United Nations (GSLMUN) conference.
Congratulations to the girls varsity tennis team (third consecutive win), girls cross-country team (first win in JBS history), boys varsity tennis team (third consecutive win) and girls varsity soccer team for bringing home top honors from state championships.
Twenty-three seniors have been named semifinalists by the National Merit Scholarship Program, and 12 other seniors have received a Letter of Commendation.
The school's 40-acre wilderness camp in the Ozarks hosts the seventh-grade orientation in the fall, as well as a science field study program for ninth graders in the spring. Many outdoor education programs also take place at Drey Land.
Our senior orchestra is one of ten instrumental and vocal classes, each of which includes multiple performances throughout the school year. Our Music Department also offers courses in music history and songwriting.
During our most recent Dance Marathon, students raised funds for Ritenour Co-Care Food Pantry and charity: water. Students engage in dozens of service projects throughout the year in support of the greater St. Louis community.

All of our students participate in some aspect of our arts program: drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography—from the introductory level to intensive studies.
